Going to the Ballet

A few of us took our daughters to see Cinderella at the ballet in Geneva. The girls all put on their favourite pink numbers and were very excited. Here is Bella with Bibi outside. Turned out to be a contemporary interpretation of Cinderella. The ugly sisters were far from ugly. We didn't see a tutu (or a pair of ballet pumps) for the whole production. The fairy godmother was represented by 5 men sporting just a pair of tight white underpants with wings on their bums and pair of fluffy boots. In what should've been the wedding scene, Cinderella emerged topless from under the bedsheets and the prince rolled out from underneath looking a little tired. What can I say, it took some explaining. Anyway we've decided next time it'll be Disney Princesses on ice...much safer.
