Nanna and Pop's visit

Mum and Alistair came over (Nanna and Pops) last week for a flying visit. They got lots of grandaparents duty as both Malc and I had to go to the UK on Thursday. I went for an internal job interview in Cadbury for the job I want in Paris, more of which on a later blog, once a get through the interview with the psychologist... Malc was over with work co-incidentally. Took the Eurostar, but we didn't travel together due to different timetables. I got chatted up by a French pig farmer on the way home, must make mental note to travel in business class next time.

Anyway less of us. They both did a fabulous job, and Isabella had a lovely time. She now has three uses for the word "nana" (1) generic word for food (2) a banana (3) Nanna. She doesn't know it yet, but it's also French slang for "chick or bird". Hopefully she won't be using it in this form anytime soon.

Here are some piccies of us when we went to the Pompidou Centre. Actually I went to the shop round the corner to buy some fuses, some washers and a curtain pole. The excitement of my life and my expanding vocabulary knows no bounds.

According to Alistair mum got very excited when she found out the plane went up and down if she pulled the lever.

Here we are, on the way home on the Champs Elysees, and Alistair outside the Pompidou with charge earlier in the day.
