All the gear...

Apologies to Nick and Jo, and everyone else who reads this blog, as it appears that for the next 4 months our pictures will mainly be snow and fondue's, there's not much else going on around here. So we went up to check on the half renovated mountain apartment, which is looking good by the way...

Whilst there, we equipped ourselves with the missing equipment for the season. Bella got a pair of plastic starter skis, a helmet and goggles. The latter unlikely to come under much stress but she looks the part, and some of the tobogan runs prefer it (those would be the one's Malc will be going down). I got myself a pair of moonboots. I am reliably informed that although Switzerland is stuck somewhere in the last century, the boots should under no circumstances leave the country. I was a bit disappointed actually, they're so cosy and warm. The ski lifts have now opened, so maybe next time we'll take the skis with us. Sebastian as ever gets dragged around on the sledge. Not so much fun yet.
