Bearing all in Central Park

If you go down to the woods today you're sure of a big surprise... Autumn has arrived, and Izzy needed some warm clothes. In search of a fleecy all-in-one we ended up with a cutesy bear outfit. We have a Patagonia number on its way too (honestly folks) but for right now the bear look will have to do.

We were planning a long walk in the hills...so we went to Central Park (well you have to start somewhere right?). Oh how times have changed.

Isabella was so enthralled by her surroundings she soon fell in to a deep sleep, lasting through the subway journey home. If only she could nap so well in her crib by day.

Long Weekend in Cape Cod

Are we there yet?

Went away for a long weekend in Cape Cod. Unfortunately the weather was cold, wet and windy, but it was still fun for the 3 of us to go away. She was pretty snug inside her dad's jacket.

Isabella takes one bottle of furmula a day, and is now starting to hold the bottle, as clearly food is dear to her heart. Here she is with me, just to show I was actually there.

Water, water everywhere

Here's Isabella in her new bath tub (called a tummy tub). Comes from Europe and is supposed to be like being inside the tummy. She seemed to like it, and was able to bounce herself up and down, not sure how clean she got, not that she gets dirty. Also, when she grows out of it, we can put a plant in it, so useful.
Myself, Isabella and Lucy have just come back from the Hamptons, courtesy of Elena our next door neighbour who has a wonderful house there with her husband Ricardo and baby Matteo (9 months). Matteo and Isabella met for the first time. Isabella showed indifference, and Matteo was playing it cool for now. It rained solidly for 3 days, but it was nice to get away.

Newsflash - 12 hours sleep

It's official, Isabella is now sleeping from 7pm til 7am. Wow. It's also official she doesn't like napping by day, which may have something to do with it, not to mention the intensive gym workout sessions...see picture

still growing

Every day she seems to grow more responsive and has started to recognize us which is cool. Her acne is on its way out, and her skin is flaking off (nice) in the process, revealing her lovely baby soft skin again. Hurrah we no longer have to leave the house with a paper bag over her head. Only joking...
