Here comes the Sun

Bella geting ready for the Summer Sun and beach trips, with the essential sunglasses beach cover-up and Crocs. If the weather continues we'll be testing them next weekend on the Normandy beaches.

A Triomphe with Phil&Helen

After a hearty breakfast of Wheetos and toast all shared with Lily the bilingual (English and Spanish) singing frog, we went out to see some more Paris sights with Uncle Phil and Aunty Helen.

We went up the Arc de Triomphe, and were happy to discover a secret lift for those with children, rather than the 250 stairs. Phil and Helen chose the stairs...however they did take the lift back down with us.

A swift walk down the Champs Elysees to the Tuileries for a well deserved ice cream given the 28 degrees heat.

Dimanche au Galop

Another beautiful weekend. We took our bikes out and cycled down to the Hippodrome d'Auteuil. It was a free day at the races, targeted at families, so lots of free activities for children. Bella checked out the form, took a ride in a carriage herself, and enjoyed the warm wether.

Easter Egg Hunt

The MESSAGE Group we belong to (English speaking families of Paris) organised an Easter Egg Hunt. We had a practice run at home first, just to make sure she had some of the Whitehurst competitive spirit in her. The hunt itself was a sucess, although we did have to confiscate the eggs before she ate them all in one go, which as most would know is not beyond our little gourmande.

Out for a Sunday Drive

Isabella picked a shiny red sports car for her Sunday drive last week.

The acceleration wasn't up to much though...
