Summer Holiday in Italy - Part 1 Villa Pia

This year we went back to Italy for our Summer Holiday. The fisrt week we stayed at Villa Pia, a family friendly catered villa in Umbria (just). On the way down we stayed with our former neighbours from New York. They have a fabulous place in Tuscany that they've renovated. Very rural, we visited Enzo's garden their next door neighbour as he is self sufficient, so with rabbits, chickens, bees and the rest it was better than a petting zoo. We left out the bit about them ending up on the dinner table.

Our main destination, Villa Pia, was also in the middle of nowhere. We met up with two other families Chris & Una and Aled & Claire and their various offspring. At the place their were 17 families. Wow 30 kids under 5 years old. However the place was completely set up for families and we had a great time.

Lots of things to play with and do

Bella joins in a cookery class, yum!

The dads also do a cookery class, yum!

A day out at a rather strange theme park, the kids loved it, we found it a little low-tech let's say.
