First snows

Well you know you're living in Switzerland when you build your first snowman in the first week of October...we did go up to 1400 metres, but even so, seemed a little early to be building snowmen and drinking chocolat chaud!

Starting School and Friends for Bella

Bella started school every morning 8.15 - 11.15 in the local village. It is a Montessori school. We chose it cos it is bilingual, had a place and is local, not because it is Montessori. However we are
now becoming accustomed to the Montessori way. That is to say we have no idea what they do, seems a bit like the Masons for 3 year olds. Anyway Bella seems happy. After the first week, she cried on Friday night when I told her there was no school the next day. Hmmmm, very strange. She's got over it now though and is happy for the weekend to come around. She has a new friend Oliver who's English and in her class at school and lives across the road. She also got invited to Leyla's 4th birthday party, so things are looking up for Bella's social life at least.

Food fun

I know he has to learn to use a spoon, but it's so messy...

Karaoke kids

The rather large present Nick and Michie bought us is is coming in very handy. Sebby tends to use it more than Bella actually, throwing us a pub song every now and then. Bella has recently become more obsessed with dancing and Angelina Ballerina.

Bath time fun

Bath time can be a little bit crazy with the two of them, as Bella helpfully washes Sebby's hair. Despite screaming blue murder if water goes anywhere near her eyes, she seems to think it OK for Sebby.

Sebby proofing the house

Sebastian is testing our house like Bella never did...he wants to dive off sofas, climb on to tables, go down stairs head first, stick his fingers in wall sockets... Thanks goodness he can't walk yet, but he can certainly get wherever he wants to be.
