Tulip Time

Tulip festival in Morges. We took the bike and scooter down for a play. Bella added some extra scratches to her already bruised and scratched legs, and that was with the stabilisers on, but it was a rather ambitious run down a bridge! Probably should've taken the cycle helmets off for the pictures, but hey.

The Sun is here...

..although on this particular day it was quite cold. It must be time to go to Signal de Bougy again.

Learning to swim

We haven't been great with the children learning to swim as we don't go very often. So during the Easter holidays we booked Bella in for a daily lesson. Just to add to mum and Alistairs challenges, not only did they have to look after 3 kids under 4, they had to get one of them to a swim lesson half way up the mountains every day. A task they accomplished very well I might add, although I understand the learning curve was quite tough...

New Pyjamas

Nick and Michie took advantage of mum and Alistair coming out to stay, to add an extra child (Marisa) to the baby sitting list at Founex and go skiing. Marisa's Japanese granny kindly sent Bella a pair of My Little Kitty pyjamas, same as Marisa. We tried ot get the two of them to model together. However Marisa clearly not as practised as Bella in that department.

The snow has gone

Firstly apologies for not posting. It's a bit boring during the winter season as we mainly ski at the weekends and don't take so many photos. Anywhow the season is over now, so here's a few for the record. Mainly taken with a blackberry (and not the one I lost off the ski lift...).

Brother and sister love, cute. The second photo is at Easter when we were doing an egg hunt in the snow . If you'll look closely you'll notice a rather large bump on Sebby's head where he pulled Tom (springy iron boy) over on himself.

Sebby didn't really get in to it this year, next season am sure he'll really enjoy it.

Bella went to a Saturday morning ski class, at the end of which she got her next medal, and competed in a race. The medal has mountains on it this time rather than the previous ones which had various coloured mice, so we figure mountains must be good! To be fair she was whizzing down the off piste bumps (next to the blue run) through the trees and coming down the red run cautiously, so I guess she deserves a mountin medal.

We had lots of visitors and friends to ski with. Always keen to have a hot chocolate (or vin chaud) at the end of the day.

And after a slightly bumpy start to the season for myself, things got better. The snow, although not as good as last year was pretty good, albeit really cold most of the season. Once my battereis to warm my boots up finally arrived the sun came out for some lovely spring skiing. This picture was taken at Easter, almost the last run we did, Carl and Sue tooks us on some fabulous short bursts of off piste. This time I started to enjoy it and no sense of humour failure.
