I was working in the UK for a week, and so Malc and Bella came over on the Eurostar and joined me for the weekend. We stayed with Jo and Chris, and Bella shared a room with Oscar. The journey over proved a little more eventful than planned as Bella was sick and vomitted all over Malc. Unfortunately Malc was due at a posh do that evening and had worn his suit on the train. ooops. Later on that evening he looked like he was going to a school disco dressed in his jeans and suit jacket. The next day it was my turn and having planned a day off shopping in London I spent the day with my head down the toilet bowl, whilst listening to work teleconferences about the new work organisational structure. Hmm. not quite the start to the weekend we had planned. Anyway the rest of the weekend was good. Unfortunately we packed so light we didn't have a camera for any pictures, so here's one of Bella back in France doing the french bread thing.

I have been travelling a lot with work recently, and am definitely out of favour with Bella. She wants "daddy, daddy, daddy" all the time. I think she's cottoned on to the threat of the growing belly too. We're having dilemmas about possibly moving house, moving Bella's room, potty training, beds, schools etc. However the work situation for me is somewhat undefined right now, so there are too many moving parts to actually do anything. Anyway we leave for 3 weeks vacation in Britanny next weekend, so we will have lots of rest and relaxation which is a lovely thought.

Nanna & Pops Visit

My mum and Alistair came to stay last week. We all went out for the day to Chantilly, where we saw the horses in the living horse museum, and walked around the grounds of the chateau. Like the UK the weather here isn't great although we appear to have had a bit less rain, and it was fine for our day out.

Bella helped Malc fix the bikes, and mum and tum demonstrate bike and bike seat. It should be noted this is the reserve seat and it's normally Malc who takes Isabella on the back of his bike.
